Finding a Hotel that accepts dogs is not a big deal but finding and “All-Inclusive Resort” is a huge deal. Most don’t allow dogs. My mom found a dog friendly resort in Mexico, on the Caribbean. Warm water, white sand and an Eco Resort. This place is not a high-rise, it is spread out, lots of walking, lots of nature.

The rooms are palapas, very quaint, with decks and Jacuzzi in the room.

The not so good:

  • Coffee was bad, weak. Take your own!

  • They don’t allow dogs near the pool.

  • They will tell you that dogs are not allowed at the beach but they are, so go ahead and go.

  • Don’t go in the summer, it will be TOO hot for a dog but Spring, Fall are wonderful.

Overall it was a great place for walks and bike rides, there are some insider tricks so if you plan a trick please contact us for further instruction.

The Tulum Ruins are about 20 minutes away. A great place to visit but no dogs allowed so be sure to stay in the room that day!

*CUSTOMS: Everything went smoothly entering Mexico. You will need a certificate from your vet showing shot records and you will need to be on flea/tick meds. The certificate needs to be done 10 days within travel.
